Fitted privacy policy
Effective October 30, 2026
Fitted is made by Askat Bakyev ("we"), an independent developer in California, USA. We are responsible for your information as described here. This page says what the app does with your information. Short version: your resume lives on your iPhone. To read and tailor it, the app sends it to an AI service, which deletes it within 30 days. There are no accounts, ads or tracking.
What stays on your iPhone
Your profile (the resume you import and edit), the resumes you make, and your settings are stored only in the app on your iPhone, and in your iPhone's backups if you use them. Deleting the app deletes them.
What leaves your iPhone, and why
Only to do what you ask:

The app asks before the first time anything is sent to the AI. You can say "Not now" and nothing is sent. You can take that permission back at any time in the app: Profile, then turn off "Send to Anthropic's AI".
Our server
Our server passes your request to the AI and sends the answer back. It does not store your resume, the job posts or the AI's answers. It keeps:
- The random install number and how many requests it made today, to enforce daily limits. The count starts over each day at midnight UTC, and the previous day's numbers are dropped with the first request of the new day.
- Basic logs: which step ran, whether it worked, how long it took and how many AI tokens it used. No resume or job text, and no install number. These logs are kept for 3 days.
The server runs on Cloudflare, which processes the requests to deliver them and, like any web service, sees your IP address while doing so. We don't store IP addresses.
Anthropic
Anthropic provides the AI (Claude). Under Anthropic's commercial terms it does not use what we send to train its models, and it deletes it within 30 days, unless it needs to keep it longer to enforce its usage policy or by law. See Anthropic's privacy center.
Why we use your information
To do what you ask the app to do (tailor your resume), and only after you agree to send it to the AI. For people in the EU and UK, the legal basis is your consent for the AI step and performing our service for you.
Where it is processed
Our server provider (Cloudflare) and Anthropic are US companies. Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries, under their standard contractual protections for international transfers.
What we don't do
No accounts, no advertising, no tracking across apps or websites, no selling or sharing your information for marketing, no analytics tools.
Children
Fitted is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Your choices
- Don't import or tailor, and nothing leaves your iPhone.
- Delete a resume in the app, or delete the app to remove everything on your iPhone.
- Turn off "Send to Anthropic's AI" in Profile to stop sending anything.
- We don't keep your resume, so there is nothing on our side to delete. Anthropic deletes it within 30 days.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your information, to object, and to complain to your data protection authority. Write to askat.bkv@gmail.com and we will help.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date.
